After some years of city-dwelling, Emma & Dan decided on a change of pace and looked for a country escape in Dan’s home county of East Yorkshire. Moving to a neglected farmhouse in 2015, they immediately set about restoring the characterful house and reviving the 6 acre smallholding that came with it. After years of heart and hard work, they have opened up their English Eden to share with visitors. By placing a Blackdown Shepherd’s Hut in the ‘Little Orchard’, they have created a stay like no other in a unique part of the country.
