How do I book a holiday?
Once you have a found your ideal place to stay, you can follow their link to their website and book directly with them.
I’ve booked my holiday! What happens now?
You should receive some sort of confirmation from the holiday let that you have booked with. They will advise you if there is anything else that needs to happen before you begin packing for your holiday.
I’ve booked my holiday, but I need to change something!
If you need to change something like a name or contact number/email then just email the business you booked with and let them know.
Changing dates will be subject to availability at the time of the change. It is always best to contact the letting and ask if you can change the date. If the date cannot be changed, you may lose your initial deposit if you have to cancel.
What should I bring with me on holiday?
We always suggest that you pack for all weather types and make sure you look at the weather beforehand. Don’t forget to bring any important documents such as booking information and tickets that you may need.
Some of our listings may also provide extras, such as welcome baskets/food/tea and coffee. However, we do ask that you double check what your listing offers so you can plan what extras to bring.

I have a hut! How can I feature my hut on Shepherd Hut Breaks?
As long as your hut was created by Blackdown Shepherd Huts (or one of their self builds!), you can register to add your hut here! Let us know your name, business name, contact information and information about your hut and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
What information do I need to share with my customers?
Your customers will need to know your prices, the amenities you offer, where you are and how far you are away from specific landmarks or restaurants for example. We also suggest that you provide your customers with a general description of your hut and your business so they can get a feel for what you can offer them.
