Sea shack has everything you need for a really comfortable few days away: a private bathroom with full plumbing, a compact kitchen, heating, a wood burner, a cosy seating area, and a fold-down double bed with a stargazing window set into the roof.
The hut sits well away from the farmhouse, so it feels peaceful and secluded. Its fenced private garden has plenty of places to sit, and the star of the show is a Bohemen wood-fired hot tub, a real touch of Scandinavian indulgence. The built-in stove heats the water, and the tub easily fits two. It faces the view, so you can soak with a morning cuppa as the sun rises or toast the end of the day with a drink in hand, whatever the season. It’s the kind of spot where slowing down comes naturally.
Setting off on foot is easy, too, as footpaths start right from the hut. A short stroll joins the 2 Moors Way, leading towards Lynmouth or across to Watersmeet and the South West Coast Path. If you’d rather drive, the charming harbour village of Lynmouth and the clifftop town of Lynton are only 5 to 10 minutes away. You’ll find independent shops, local restaurants and the historic water-powered Cliff Railway connecting the two.
