The hut is ideally positioned in a secluded corner of the garden of our 16th century farmhouse in the heart of the beautiful and diverse South Somerset. It is perfect for watching wildlife, sunrises and sunsets, and listening to bird song and night owls.

The interior is cleverly designed as a cosy daytime retreat complete with comfortable chairs, log burner, and a dining area. At night, simply pull down the bed, all ready made, and enjoy a great night’s sleep. Towels and quality products are supplied in the en-suite shower room.

The outdoor covered kitchen area is fully equipped and together with the fire pit/oven makes the whole cooking experience great fun! If the British weather lets you down, there is an option to order a takeaway breakfast or supper…

ENJOYED A FABULOUS WEEKEND AT THE SHEPHERDS HUT…

Ilona is a fantastic host and has thought of everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The hut is fantastic and the outdoor tub a real cherry on the cake. Will return again for sure.

Magical Place

What a magical place . The Shepherds Hut is special without the added extras provided by Michele but they made it a cut above other places we have stayed… The hut itself is beautifully made and is calm cosy and spotlessly clean . We will be back!
