Chez Marguerite is a luxury shepherd hut set in the secluded gardens of Birkfield House along its very own woodland walk. This shepherd hut is a fully self-contained cosy retreat, with an en-suite WC, hand-made kitchen including induction hob perfect for some indoor cooking, fridge for the essentials and a high-quality double bed perfect for snuggling up together.

To keep you warm, we supply wood for you to burn in the fantastic log burning stove, which will keep you feeling cosy all day and night.

If you feel like some al-fresco dining, outside of the shepherd hut, you’ll discover all you need for a delicious dinner or breakfast including a firepit/barbeque and outdoor eating area. We supply the eggs, bacon, bread, cereal and other goodies!

Additionally, there is direct access to long or short walks along Warren Road which leads to Kelling Heath. If you fancy venturing a little further, the beautiful AONB Norfolk coast is only a 10-minute drive away.

Visit our website for further details as Chez Marguerite is booking up fast, so reserve some romantic time away now.  This is the real “Glam” end of glamping.

Beautiful Shepherd Hut

It was such a novelty to be able to stay in this beautiful shepherd's hut. We loved the wood burner, listening to the owls hooting at night, chatting to each other, there is a radio, but no TV which in our eyes is a good thing, it was lovely just to get away and relax

Enjoyable Stay

The accommodation itself was very well thought out, all the amenities crammed in a very small space, cosy and perfect and the addition of a fire pit with a full stock of logs just made it even better… thoroughly enjoyed the stay! and we even had one of the cats, 'Mackerel' most mornings and evenings as extra company.

Perfect Getaway

The Shepherds hut was really sweet and perfect for a getaway. The fire was great for the cooler evenings and made it extra cosy… We would definitely come back again!

Sweet, Small and Perfect

It was adorably sweet, small and perfectly formed the facilities were brilliant The OMG burner kept as cosy and warm, bed was comfy and the little kitchen was great. Toilet/shower room was small but all you need. There was storage both under the bed and at other side plus a cupboard with hangers. I have been in hotel and cruise rooms that dont give you as much

£125- £150 per night
