BOOKINGS FOR ALDCLIFFE HUT WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM AUGUST 2023.

The Aldcliffe Hut is located within it’s own secret garden, adjoining a nature reserve yet only 15 minutes walk from Lancaster’s train station, making it the perfect place to explore both the bird life and city life.  It boasts a beautifully designed interior with a woodburning stove and well equipped kitchen; a modern daytime place to relax and by night a cosy, luxurious bedroom.  Outside the Hut you will find a fire pit and a charcoal barbecue, however if the weather isn’t conducive to outdoor eating, you are only a few minutes walk away from two local pubs!

Victoria is a former solicitor who is now a trustee and volunteer for a local food bank.  Together with her husband Jake they have completely rebuilt their home and transformed the garden.  They will look forward to welcoming you to The Aldcliffe Hut and are on hand to guide you as to where to go and what to see in Lancaster and beyond.

ENJOYED A FABULOUS WEEKEND AT THE SHEPHERDS HUT…

Ilona is a fantastic host and has thought of everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The hut is fantastic and the outdoor tub a real cherry on the cake. Will return again for sure.

Magical Place

What a magical place . The Shepherds Hut is special without the added extras provided by Michele but they made it a cut above other places we have stayed… The hut itself is beautifully made and is calm cosy and spotlessly clean . We will be back!
